# PreSell Quantity

## Overview

When purchasing products, you may want to offer them for sale before they arrive at your warehouse. Sellercloud allows you to configure a **PreSell Quantity** on the [Purchase Order (PO)](https://descartessystems.aha.io/pages/7630848713094527310), which is then added to the product’s Physical Quantity, increasing the total available inventory count included in your inventory feeds to integrated channels. For example, let’s say you have 0 available quantity of a product, and you create a PO with 100 units. With this feature, you can count some or all of the units on the PO toward the product's available inventory even before you receive them.

[Client Setting](https://descartessystems.aha.io/pages/7630835167106228692) **Enable PO Pre-Sell Quantity** must be enabled for this workflow!

## Add PreSell Quantities

To add presell quantities to a PO:

1. Go to the [PO Details Page](https://descartessystems.aha.io/pages/7630848557116317467).
2. Click **Toolbox** and select **Items**.
3. Click **Edit** at the top right.
4. Select the **PreSell** checkbox for the items you want to pre-sell.
5. Enter the relevant quantities in the **PreSell Qty** box.

6. Click **Save**.

Once you receive the PO or disable the **PreSell** option, the system switches the PO back to its usual calculation.

It may take a few minutes for the product’s available inventory to be updated with the **PreSell Quantity**.

When bulk-importing POs from the **Purchasing > Tools > Import Purchase Info > Import Purchase Orders**, you can use the columns **PreSellEnabled** and **PreSellQty** to enable and set presell quantities.
