# Acceptance of goods

The **inventory management system** is supposed to store information about all goods sold in an online shop. Each item is **registered** in the local system when goods arrive in the warehouse. After that, all remnants in stock are **recalculated**.

Goods registrations are based on the **factory barcode**. If it contains all the required information, changing the labeling is unnecessary. If the factory barcode is not complete, the warehouse employee labels it with a **local barcode.**
