# Merchant-fulfilled orders & Non-merchant-fulfilled orders

There are two types of order fulfillment: **merchant-fulfilled** and **non-merchant-fulfilled**.

**Merchant-fulfilled orders** are shipped directly from the merchant’s warehouse.

**Non-merchant-fulfilled orders**, such as **Fulfillment by Amazon** (FBA) and **Walmart Fulfillment Services** (WFS), are shipped from a warehouse operated by a third-party company.
