## How Sellercloud Helped Shipflow Manage its Inventory and Scale its 3PL Business

### Company Overview
- **Headquarters**: New Brunswick, NJ
- **Company Size**: 11-50 employees

### Before Sellercloud
Starting a 3PL company was far from what the Avidan brothers planned to do a little more than a decade ago. It all began when ShipFlow CEO Ezra Avidan founded an e-commerce business called ‘Floopi’ with his brothers David and Jack in Brooklyn, New York, under their parent company, Adir Group. They import women’s, men’s, and kid’s footwear from Asia and sell it on Amazon, Walmart, and various other marketplaces.

However, early on, Floopi had a horrible incident with a 3PL that lost its inventory, leading them to understand better than larger corporate 3PLs. Today, they describe ShipFlow as a ‘multichannel e-commerce 3PL.’

The brothers only considered getting involved in the 3PL industry when a friend’s B2C business needed help with third-party logistics. Ezra offered to help manage their logistics, and after discussions with his brothers, the idea to offer these services to others was born.

### The Challenge
ShipFlow knew they could not run their ambitious 3PL business without a comprehensive system. Handling thousands of orders and SKUs for multiple brands without a system is impossible. They previously used a clunky ‘dinosaur’ system with Floopi, and wanted to avoid similar issues for their 3PL.

### The Solution
Ezra and his brothers were very familiar with different software options but hadn’t found a suitable solution. Fortunately, they had been working with Sellercloud even before launching their 3PL. Sellercloud was a key part of Floopi’s success, and they realized how effective it would be for ShipFlow.

Customization was essential for ShipFlow to enable its merchants to control their business processes. From simple tasks like shipping orders to FBA to more complex automation, Sellercloud’s Order Rule Engine, scheduled tasks, rate shopping, and custom queries provided the needed flexibility. This allowed their merchants to independently manage orders without needing constant assistance.

One feature they particularly valued was the Order Rule Engine, which enabled them to automate actions based on set conditions. For instance, they could easily switch carriers for orders over $500 with quick configuration changes, enhancing overall efficiency.

The level of customization enabled ShipFlow to apply rules that automated many shipping processes, significantly reducing manual labor. Their use of QR codes for package tracking and automated information capture further streamlined operations.

David Avidan, Head of Operations, remarked on the intuitive nature of Sellercloud’s WMS, Skustack. It helped the warehouse workers efficiently navigate tasks, contributing to improved performance and reduced errors.

With Sellercloud, ShipFlow gained transparency to provide brands insights into inventory and order management, ensuring trust and clarity.

### After Sellercloud
Looking toward the future, ShipFlow continues to receive robust support from Sellercloud as they handle over three million orders annually. They’re well-positioned to quickly scale operations as demand peaks and deliver consistent quality to their clients.

Ezra summarizes Sellercloud as an “all-in-one” solution that effectively addresses all their 3PL challenges, highlighting how it enables cohesive operations within their business.
